The National Parenting Center's Seal of Approval
program is used by companies such as Disney, 3M,
Microsoft and Mattel.
Engaging an independent panel of
parents, educators and experts, The National Parenting
Center put Pedal Magic through a rigorous test and
evaluation process in the Fall of 1996. Their findings
were summarized in a citation on their Seal
of Approval for Pedal Magic: |
|
| When you make a promise as lofty as "Teach
anyone to ride a bike in 5 minutes.
Guaranteed.", you'd better be able to back it
up. |
|
|
Most of our parent testers were more than a
little skeptical that a video tape could hold
such magical power.
We let our testers try it
for themselves at home. Time and time again they
returned amazed, thrilled and most importantly
with children who could ride bicycles!
The system is simple and easy to understand
providing parents with the tools they need to
get their child up and riding. |
|
| You can't argue
with success, which is exactly what we had with
this video. |

Our Note |
|
The 2-to-5 minute time frame comes from statistics we
compiled while executing the Pedal Magic process to
teach many beginners. The Pedal Magic process consists
of an Operant Conditioning Phase and a Launch Phase (you
will easily learn to execute both by watching the
15-minute video).
As a rule, elapsed times observed
during the Conditioning Phase tended to fall in the
1-to-3.5-minute range and elapsed times observed during
the Launch Phase tended to fall in the
30-seconds-to-1.5-minute range. 95% of children who have
never been on a bicycle learn to ride in 2 to 5 minutes
with Pedal Magic.
If a child has developed severe training wheels
dependencies, the Pedal Magic System has a remedial
process for eliminating these dependencies. However,
this process may take longer depending on the determination of the child and the
extent of the dependencies.
